Message from the Club Chairman

Welcome to the Chilbolton Flying Club based at the historic Chilbolton military airfield in Hampshire. Chilbolton Flying Club celebrated its first 25 years of operation in 2017.

 

We are Non-PPR and continue to welcome visitors and new members alike, if you would like to visit us, just check out the "Airfield info" page on this site. Landing fees are only £5 and that includes free access to the club HQ (caravan) where tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are available and of course unlimited chat with anyone around.

If you would like to stay a little longer, we have spaces available for tie downs and trailers. Charges per month for tie downs are £50, de-rigged Aircraft in a Trailer £45 and empty trailers £10. Club membership which covers landing fees for a year is just £75 and while essential for any aircraft based at Chilbolton, is also a good option for local pilots based elsewhere who want to be part one of the best flying clubs in the land.

The runway is located on chalk so is available to use all year and the site is secure with fencing, hedging, peripheral ditches and a locked gate to protect your aircraft.
